To make a green detox smoothie that actually tastes good, takes both practice and knowledge. Below I will share with you 7 tips that will help you create healthier and more delicious smoothies. .
.
1️⃣ COMBINATION
If you´re making a smoothie that is supposed to detoxify your body, you need to keep it SIMPLE. Your body detoxifies when you stop overloading it with food. If you mix too many ingredients that do not really go well together, your stomach will end up bloated or half of your superfood will simply not be digested properly. ⠀
2️⃣FRUITS AND VEGGIES
Keep your fruits and veggies separated to avoid gas, bloating or headaches. There are a few exceptions, like avocado, which is actually a fruit, and cucumber, that consists mostly of water. .
3️⃣NUTS AND SEEDS
Usually, I leave out nuts completely from my detox smoothies as they are harder to digest and can create bloating. I like using them in a nourishing and protein-rich chocolate shake. Instead, I love adding hemp seeds, chia seeds or flaxseeds, that actually supports my digestion! But again, not more than 1 tbsp of seeds. .
4️⃣ LEAFY GREENS AND SUPERFOOD
Be creative and add leafy greens like spinach, sorrel, young linden leaves, young red currant leaves, green kale, Bok choy, beet greens, swiss chard, mint, wheat grass etc.. Feel free to add superfoods like spirulina, matcha, moringa or chlorella. .
5️⃣ OIL
Make sure you have enough healthy fats in your smoothie, this will help you to digest easier. I like adding a tbsp of flaxseed oil, cuz it actually contains a lot of Omega 3, which is rare. Other oils I use is coconut oil, sesame oil or hemp seed oil. .
6️⃣ SWEETENER
Usually, I only use fruits as a sweetener, like a pear or banana. But you can use agave syrup or honey. Try to avoid using dates in a detox smoothie, as it is harder to digest.
7️⃣ Golden rule of 3-2-1
I love using this «rule» as a guideline. First I decide wether I want to make a fruit or a veggie smoothie. Then I choose only 3 fruits / or veggies. Then I add 2 leafy greens (or 1 leafy greens and 1 superfood powder like spirulina) and 1 type of oil. If it suits the combination, I might add one type of seeds.

We had this rare opportunity to swim with the wild elephants in the jungle last year. I remember sitting on that giant creature. My mind stopped wandering and I fully focused on that few, hard hair that it had. Gently touching that rough skin..it’s huge ears.. I cured my mental paranoia, chronic depression, panic attacks, nervousness, fear of speaking in public, insecurity, drinking, drugs and smoking habits, insomnia, health issues and lots of other personal issues. All thanks to breath meditations from Kundalini Yoga.

🙏🏻 I would like teach you one simple breath meditation that you can do every day. It will cut through all insecurity and fear and get your life back on track in a short time. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👉🏻 Take one deep inhale for 5 seconds
👉🏻Hold the breath in for 5 seconds (relax your shoulders)
👉🏻Then exhale fully for 5 seconds
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
👌🏻 Repeat the cycle, and slowly add 2 seconds on each part equally, until you reach 20 sec on inhale, 20 sec on hold and 20 sec on exhale. Continue for 11 minutes. It might few month before you reach 20 sec, so don’t worry.

“Recognize that the other person is you”. That’s the first sutra of the Aquarian Age, given by the master of Kundalini Yoga, Yogi Bhajan.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
This sutra is about recognition beyond duality of perception of who you are. Inside you, there is a still point, which is beyond time and space, it has no form, no beginning and no end. It’s similar to a quantum vacuum, an empty space without any particles, but with fluctuating electromagnetic fields. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
In yoga we call it a “Zero point”, point of stillness. Whole creation came from it when it started to vibrate. That is inside you. That is inside me. That is the source of creative consciousness. We enter that by creating a meditative state called “Shunya”. When you enter that space, you will immediately unite with all creation. There will be no separation left, only Oneness.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

For some of us it’s really easy to see and express our talent. But for some of us it’s difficult, specially if we were raised with mentality like : “It’s good that you have a hobby, but it’s not enough, you’ll never be able to make a living out of it, you need to get a real job”. So we end up doing What we have to, instead of loving what we do. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Usually our talent would be expressed in early childhood. But if we didn’t get the space to explore it, our talent would get suppressed in the subconscious, thus creating lots of internal conflicts throughout the life.
