‼️How to export from Lightroom to Instagram without losing an image quality? Save this post to remember the settings. ⠀ Exporting settings and quality loss in Instagram might be some pain in the a***, I know 😂 The main reason why it happens is that our images are a bit too heavy and Instagram's downsizing process sucks big time 🤔. Huge quality loss we might get when exporting edited raw files as jpgs from Lightroom in max size. For example my raw files after all the colour grading and stuff dare to weigh more than 30 mb. What we ought to do is simply "reduce" the quality and size of an image in Lightroom. There are a lot of talks regarding exact settings but here is what works best for me. Whilst in exporting settings panel make sure you've done two following steps (SWIPE RIGHT TO SEE A SCREENSHOT): ⠀ 1. Image quality set to 72% 2. Tick on "Resize to fit" and choose "Short Edge" to limit the size by the shortest edge to 1080 px (type this number in) ⠀ Hit export and enjoy 😊 P.S. As for quality scale you can play with any number form 72 to 76 and see what works better for you.

📸 Few days ago (check previous posts) I decided to kind of challenge myself with a cheap camera kit. In a nutshell, my main fullframe camera kit is worth more than 2000 $ and my APS-C - under 750 $. I didn't have a model, so I just went to one of the Moscow's art centres to take some street photos. Edited with the same style as pictures in last four posts, which I shot with fullframe kit.

🇷🇺 MYTHS ABOUT RUSSIA I WOULD COMMENT ON 😱 ⠀ You asked for posts about #Russia so I shall start... ⠀ ❄️ 1. IT'S BLOODY COLD ⠀ First things first, it depends on WHERE you live. I'm based in #Moscow and yes it's cold sometimes, but only during a couple of winter months the temperature may drop lower than -20°C (-4 °F). But before 20 it's pretty much okay, very occasionally here in the capital we get it dropped to - 30°C (-22 °F) and yeah, that's bloody cold but I still don't wear gloves on 😂. We can't complain a lot cuz there are people who live in Siberia and Yakutiya where -50°C (-58 °F) is not a surprise in winter and you can still meet some kids on the streets 😱 ⠀ 🐻 2. BLOODY BEARS ⠀ I would address this myth to dear Canadians, because I often see pics of bears in their grids, and I've never seen a single one in my Russian friends' profiles. None of my family seen a wild bear but yes, the biggets ones, I reckon, you can meet in Russia. But they are quite far away from the cities, hiding in boundless dark forests waiting for a silly tourist to visit them 😂 Oh, forgot to mention, that besides bears we also have giant boars, hungry wolves and other forest inhabitants which are far from being kind and affable. ⠀ 🥛3. BLOODY VODKA ⠀ Really, how can someone even drink that rubbish? Tried it only once in my lifetime and none of my friends likes it. That myth comes up from the soviet era I suppose... Most of lads and girls on the streets drink beer and wine. ⠀ ☹️ 4. PEOPLE ARE BLOODY GLOOMY ⠀ That one might be true, but I would break it down for ya... It still depends on where you live. In some cities people smile much more, but for me it's true, comparing to many countries I've visited people here are tiny bit gloomier. That does not mean they are angry or rude, they just don't smile without a reason quite often. Well, you can't blame us, we don't have much sun 😂 ⠀ ⠀ ⛔ 5. IT'S BLOODY DANGEROUS ⠀ Well, let me answer shortly on this one...
