One of my goals this year is to figure out plants. I started with a snake plant, and recently propagated my dad’s pothos. My MIL brought a spider plant and an inch plant (wandering dude). So far everything’s still alive but it’s maybe been a month 😂 I’m now working on seedlings for my vegetable garden. Tomatoes, Peppers and Beans. We planted them a week ago and I’m still waiting for the sprouts.. the package says 7-14 days so here’s hoping 🤞🏼 Lastly, I started clearing out my overgrown flower gardens yesterday, today it snowed so it’ll have to wait a bit more… Are you a plant mom? Poor Second Kids… With Sophie I did alllll the activities with her art, sensory etc and still do regularly. Ella on the other hand, I avoid it at all costs. I don’t know if it’s just twice the mess with two kids holding me back or just the mess itself with a young little. BUT today Ella really wanted to join Sophie and I painting so I let her and she surprised me! She copied us and painted the egg! Sophie and Daddy popped down to the store the other day to pick up some groceries and she insisted on carrying the basket and being a big helper. The other night she was determined to set the table and told me it was her job. We’ve worked on independence and helping skills, but it makes my heart beam when she suggests or asks now.
