It was a crazy year for me, very overwhelming - I often had the feeling like I was just barely keeping it together with all the different tasks I'd taken on. I was so busy that I avoided drawing for a few months, and lost the desire to create new artwork for a little while. But when I look back at the art that I made, I'm happy to say that when I did get time to make new art, I genuinely enjoyed it! I drew some pieces that mean a lot to me, and tried some new things as well :) best of all, my desire to draw has returned now that I'm drawing quicker, more playful sketches. . . artists, how was 2017 for you??
