The way I see my city

⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀✈️Saint Petersburg ✈️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ You've asked me to tell you about other Russian cities. 🇷🇺 I haven’t been in many Russian cities. 😬 And last time I went to Saint Petersburg. We were visiting my boyfriend’s relatives during New Year’s holidays. ☃️🌲🎅🏼 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I had been in Saint Petersburg earlier and that trip was better. Because I saw a lot of beautiful places at first. And also, it was almost summer. So, the weather was very good. If you’ve never visited Saint Petersburg, you should know that this city is colder than Moscow. 🙄 It’s often cloudy and rainy and windy, it’s so damn cold. 🥶 So, I suggest you visit Petersburg during the summer, it’s the best time. And of course, at that time you can see the most beautiful nature’s phenomenon. 😍 The white night, a night in which it never gets completely dark. Why should you visit Petersburg? 🤔 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1️⃣There is a terrific architecture.🏛 2️⃣The city is located at the mouth of the Neva River, on 44 islands connected by 342 bridges. 🛳 3️⃣The Hermitage (Winter Palace), the main museum of the city, holds one of the world's largest and most important collections of artworks and cultural monuments.👍🏽 4️⃣St. Petersburg Mariinsky Theater is one of the most famous in the world. 🎨The center of modern art in Moscow the Winzavod🔝 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Hey, guys! Today I would like to tell you about the center of modern art in Moscow the Winzavod. I remember the first time when I visited this place.👱🏻‍♀️ It was a special day because until that day I had never been to a place like that. 😱 And the word like an exhibition meant nothing interesting to me. 😁 I was 16 or 17 years old and my friend convinced me to go there. I was very inspired by this place. And since that day I’ve been visiting that place 3-6 times in a year. I like the Winzavod’s atmosphere. 🤤 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ And firstly I would like to tell you about the historical part of this place. 🔙 The Winzavod Contemporary Art Center was founded in 2007 by Sofia and Roman Trotsenko. It is the first largest private center for contemporary art in Russia, combining galleries, educational programs, studios, workshops, and showrooms.😱 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are all the trends of modern culture in one space, opening to a wide audience. 👍🏽The Winzavod has supported the current Russian art and creates a comfortable environment for its development.🙏🏻 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are the most interesting and beautifully strange art objects. There are lego, luminous, sandy exposure, exposition made from trash, a hut of banana leaves and all of them are transformed into amazing works of art. 🤪😍And also, in that place, you can buy the wine and make a fashionable photo session. 😎😏Usually, there aren’t many people, but, almost all of them are very creative people. It's hard to meet there someone who doesn't appreciate that atmosphere. 😬 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Have you ever seen the movie the Nocturnal Animals? 💁🏼‍♀️And if you have, do you remember the performance at the beginning of the movie? If that performance was in Moscow the best place for that would be the Winzavod.👌🏽 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ In general, I like this center, but I don't like all the exhibitions because sometimes I can’t see anything special or beautiful in some exhibitions.🤷🏼‍♀️🙅🏼‍♀️

And on that day you can see a lot of happy women on the streets, almost all of them with the bouquets. 🤤 I guess all of you know the meaning of that day. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ But I would like to remind you of some historical details. It’s considered to think that “The empties pan marsh” on March 8, 1857, in New York was initiated the fight for women’s rights. 👊🏻👩🏻In that day women factory workers went to the streets and protest against poor working conditions for women. They were knocking on the empty pans and requiring to cancel 16-hours work day and also they were demanding increased salaries. 🤔 But this theory is impossible to reaffirm, despite its popularity.🤷🏼‍♀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Another theory is that the famous Communist Clara Zetkin was the founder of this holiday because in 1910 on 8 March at the Women’s forum in Copenhagen Zetkin encouraged the world to establish International Women’s Day on March 8. 👍🏽 In 1920 during the war between Polish and Soviet Russia Zetkin from the rostrum of the Reichstag, she urged women to offer their love to all workers who refused to execute the fascist military orders. 😬 And that was the true reason why the women got their rights according to our internet.👌🏽🌍 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I have never read about this before. 💃🏼Do you like to celebrate holidays?🤔 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 I am not a big fun of that. 😬 I like to spend time with my friends and family without any reasons. Maybe I am too superstitious but I think that when you plan the celebration and think about every detail the holiday won’t be as cool as it might be when you meet with your friends spontaneously. 🤤 This is the reason why I hate to plan things... I am an unpredictable person and I like this in myself, I like that today I can be here and tomorrow I can buy tickets and fly to a completely different point in the world, at least I can do it in my mind. 😁 I miss that because now I have a lot of conditions. 😢 🔻🔻🔻 But according to the point I would like to say that for me all these holidays are disturbing days. 😝 So, I prefer not to plan anything on these days. ◾️RELIGION ◾️ 🔻🔻🔻🔻🔻 Today I would like to talk with you about a very important topic - religion. I know that many people prefer not to talk about it. 👌🏽 But I would like to talk about another side of this issue: the Russian people’s attitude to that part of their life. 🧩 🔻 In our country you can choose any religion that you like. 😊 Also you can be an atheist. It’s your right. We don’t usually ask each other about the religion, but if you will want to talk about this issue you can. Of course, you can meet some very religious people that can argue with you about this theme. 😶 But usually people react very calmly. We also don’t have any special lessons in our usual schools when teachers tell you about religion. 🤷🏼‍♀️ But we have a lot of special schools and different cultural places, where you can go and learn more about any religion. 👍🏽 Also, I don’t feel the pressure about my own choice. The main problem may be only in your parents, of course, parents want only good for their children. 🤔 And they suggest them only that things that they believe can helped to their children. 🔻 My dad suggested me to be part of Christianity while I choosed to be a part of all the world’s religous. 🌎 I don’t relate myself to any religion. I am too young to understand all the worlds rules. 🤷🏼‍♀️ And that was the main reason why I’ve just started my religious way. Hey! Yesterday I told you how people had been celebrating Maslenitsa in the Ancient’s Russia times. 🤼‍♀️🛷❄️💃🏼 🔻 Nowadays we have quite different traditions. Actually we have a different lifestyle and this is the reason why we can’t follow all the traditions. 😩So, we follow only the main rules, we eat pancakes during the holiday week and we go out to the centre of city on the weekends to take part in the mass open-air merrymakings and festivals. 🕺🏻💃🏼There are a lot of people who are dancing, singing traditional songs,going sleigh ridding, taking part in the different competitions, listening and singing ditties, eating pancakes to get warm. 🔻 There are the same festivals in the schools. And you can also take part in such festivals. 🤤 In my school we have been celebrating Maslenitsa every year. 🥳 All the residents come to our school and pupils with teachers of our school entertain all the guests. They are singing for them and dancing with them. Also you can take part in the competitions and win tickets.
