“It has been a while since I last colored but I didn’t feel any pressure,” Officer Lebron said while laughing. “We all were having a good time.” Meet NYPD Police Officer Lebron, who works at the #NYPD 33rd Precinct in the Washington Heights section of #Manhattan as a Neighborhood Coordination Officer (NCO) with her partner, Police Officer Guzman. Officer Lebron was describing how Neighborhood Policing is a combination of connecting with the public and fighting crime. Police Officers Lebron and Guzman visited a local school recently to color with the students while sharing safety tips and answering their questions. Initially the students were supposed to come to the precinct but due to the frigid temperature, they were not able to. The Officers quickly decided there was no need to cancel the event so they instead went to the school. Spending quality time with the community has not interfered with their crime fighting. Officers Lebron and Guzman recently assisted the 33 Precinct Detective Squad with investigating a burglary pattern that resulted in a suspect being arrested.
