I remember the times when I couldn’t afford to simply buy flowers home. Usually, I bought them for someone as a part of a gift on a special occasion like a birthday or 8th of March. And they were gifted to me for the same reason. ⠀ Later things have been changed. I started to have them more frequently in my flat. But it’s interesting that sometimes I still feel guilty when I buy myself flowers without any special occasion. Well, I started to broke this habit, and it’s better now. ⠀ I simply allow myself to do it. But I still consider having flowers home as a privilege, and I love it because I appreciate their beauty even more. ⠀ P. S. Instagram vs reality. Oh yes, I know this is not a perfect outfit, my hair are messy and make up is not so bright, BUT who cares when you sit and enjoy the moment! ⠀ I was having a lovely time. I pay a lot of attention to details when it comes to making photography. And also in life. In December 2019, when I still lived in Moscow but already started to pack my bags to move to London, I wanted to get a tattoo before I move. It was supposed to be my first one. ⠀ I wanted to get this tattoo on my hand. So I booked an appointment, came to a tattoo artist, explained to her what I want. And she said that it’s not the best spot for a perfectionist like me. Because it will gradually disappear with hand washing. So I didn’t do it. ⠀ And now I’m so grateful that I didn’t. Because new reality makes us wash our hands very often, and because of that, my tattoo would probably have been ruined already. ⠀ I’m a big believer that things happen for a reason, and this situation once again proved it to me. So, even when sometimes we don’t get what we want, it’s for the best. ⠀ Now I’m waiting for all of this craziness is over. Because then I will get that tattoo as a reminder about this period. Today I woke up in a slightly bad mood. I was scrolling down the Insta when I saw a post of a girl I follow. And this post remembers me about how valuable life is and that every day counts. (I will not specify what this post was about because of respect for that girl). ⠀ The most important thing is that it instantly changed my attitude to the problems that had ruined my mood in the morning before I read that post. I started to focus on what I already have instead of thinking about what I don't. ⠀ I used to practice regularly to be grateful for the things I have. But after a while, I stopped. Nowadays I remind myself about it sometimes and being grateful helps me to be present. ⠀ This is why today I began doing it again, and I'm going to maintain a regular practice. Here I want to share with you some of the things I'm grateful for. ⠀ So, I'm grateful for: ✨ The opportunity to live in the UK and to enjoy the beautiful atmosphere around ✨ Summer, especially with warm and sunny days ✨ Food and clothing I can afford to buy ✨ Being able to spend so much time with my family ⠀ 🤍 And I'm so grateful that I can do what I'm passionate about and share this art with you, friends! I know we tent to always want more and there is nothing wrong with it. How I write my captions ✍️ ⠀ So, here is the thing: I'm not gonna tell you about some unique formula because I don't have any. What I'm gonna do here is to share with you my style of "brainstorm" ideas for my posts, which maybe will help you to collect yours. ⠀ Ok, so, I purposely put the word "brainstorm" in quotation marks, because actually, I can't brainstorm the ideas. I've noticed that sitting and thinking about the themes for my posts doesn't work for me. For some reason, this process ruins my inspiration. ⠀ What really WORKS for me is to be constantly open to ideas that come to my mind during a day almost every day. ⠀ The important thing is to write them down. I use my phone for this. I take notes or record audio about the idea that comes to my mind. Also, I have a couple of paper notebooks and pens in different rooms in my flat to make sure I will not miss any ideas while my phone is not at hand. ⠀ Then, when it's time to write the post, I open my notes, choose one idea and bring it to the final result (usually it takes from 40 minutes to 1 hour and a half). ⠀ I'm curious, which strategy works for you, girls?
