Vulnerability is not a weakness, it’s a strength. 💪⠀ ⠀ Today I was listening to my daily Calm meditation and the topic was on vulnerability. I was inspired to share this beautiful message on the topic (credit Calm app 🙏).⠀ ⠀ Many of us avoid vulnerability at all costs. Being vulnerable might expose us to criticism or judgment, and so we put up walls to guard ourselves to create the illusion of emotional security.⠀ ⠀ However, the benefits of being vulnerable and letting our guard down far outweighs the risk.⠀ ⠀ The boldest act of a true leader is to be publicly vulnerable, because vulnerability is the foundation for open and nonjudgmental communication.⠀ ⠀ Vulnerability allows us to be honest with ourselves. Our relationships deepen due to authenticity. It teaches us to be less defensive and to let go of who we thought we should be, in order to step into something better.⠀ ⠀ Vulnerability teaches us compassion, first to ourselves, and then to others.⠀ ⠀ When we’re brave enough to be vulnerable, we often speak for those who are not brave enough to speak for themselves. It helps us tap into our common humanity.⠀ ⠀ Vulnerability guides us towards our courageousness, so we can stand for what’s important.⠀ ⠀ If you’re going through a challenge or difficulties, share it with someone and communicate... rather than avoiding, isolating or keeping things to yourself.⠀ ⠀ It’s okay to be human. 💕⠀ ⠀ #ProjectLifeMastery #CommittedToMastery

You get what you focus on... so you might as well focus on what you want! 🤩⠀ ⠀ As Napoleon Hill wisely stated:⠀ ⠀ “Focus on the possibilities for success, not on the potential for failure.”⠀ ⠀ #ProjectLifeMastery #CommittedToMastery

You wanna grow in your life?⠀ ⠀ Stretch yourself! Pursue new experiences, open yourself up to life and try as many new things as possible.⠀ ⠀ You only get 1 shot in this life - make it count and get the maximum experience that is available for you.⠀ ⠀ Not all experiences might be positive... that’s okay, because in each experience is valuable lessons and insights to be had.⠀ ⠀ “A mind stretched by a new experience can never go back to its older dimensions.” (Oliver Wendell Holmes)⠀ ⠀ What’s something new that you’ll try or experience this week?⠀ ⠀ #CommittedToMastery #ProjectLifeMastery

One of my biggest pet peeves is people that habitually complain. I distance myself from these people, as they only suck your energy and are a drag to be around.⠀ ⠀ Complainers - the ones that are never satisfied and always find something to complain about - are so conditioned to constantly find the negative in situations and have blind spots to all of the positive, amazing things that are available for them if they only acknowledge it.⠀ ⠀ So here’s my advice, if you want to be happier and so that other people will want to be around you...⠀ ⠀ Everyday, take out a journal and write down 10 things you’re grateful for.⠀ ⠀ Start to notice and appreciate things in your life more.⠀ ⠀ There is something positive in every situation... you just gotta find it. ⠀ ⠀ “What’s great about this?”⠀ ⠀ “What can I learn from this?”⠀ ⠀ Take control of your mind and emotions. Redirect it to something positive and constructive, then take action to actually DO something about it (rather than just complain).⠀ ⠀ Most people will continue to complain simply because they GET something from it - attention, people feeling sorry for them, or some need being met.⠀ ⠀ That’s why one of the biggest addictions in society is not only drugs, alcohol or food... it’s having PROBLEMS.⠀ ⠀ As people continue to have their needs met through their problems, they’ll continue creating and attracting them.⠀ ⠀ It all starts with taking control of your MIND. Rather being a prisoner of it, actually use it for GOOD.⠀ ⠀ It starts with gratitude. We’re all so lucky to be alive, in the best time to be alive, with so much abundance and opportunity.⠀ ⠀ There’s A LOT of people on this planet worse off than all of us. I’ve been to many 3rd world countries and met many people that have justified reasons to complain... and yet, surprisingly, I’ve found most to be incredibly happy and grateful.⠀ ⠀ What have I learned? What you habitually focus on is what you consistently feel in your life.⠀ ⠀ “What you think, you become. What you feel, you attract. What you imagine, you create.” Buddha⠀ ⠀ #CommittedToMastery #ProjectLifeMastery

Let food be thy medicine!⠀ ⠀ Every year I like to give my body a break and do some sort of detox. Our bodies are always working incredibly hard to keep us healthy and strong, in spite of all the pollutants, toxins, processed foods, stresses, etc... that it’s constantly dealing with.⠀ ⠀ I wrapped up a 10 day green juice fast. It’s my 3rd time, as I was originally inspired a few years ago by the documentary Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead.⠀ ⠀ The first few days can be challenging as your body adapts to less calories and some detox symptoms. After a few days, hunger turns off and your body starts burning your stored energy (fat) for fuel.⠀ ⠀ There’s many incredibly benefits - accelerated healing, fat loss, energy, etc... but I’d say one of the biggest that I experience is elimination of cravings.⠀ ⠀ When you’re fasting, it’s fascinating to pay attention to how much of eating is emotional. Often we eat to change how we feel - to reduce stress, anxiety, or to feel comfort. Food can be used as a drug, which is what leads to obesity and other health problems.⠀ ⠀ By the end of a juice fast, I always feel more mentally and emotionally in control of my life. It’s a great experience!⠀ ⠀ I published a video on the Project Life Mastery YouTube channel sharing my experience, which you can watch if you want to learn more.⠀ ⠀ #HealthIsWealth #ProjectLifeMastery #CommittedToMastery
